A Magnified Hypothesis
I noticed an imposing glass magnifying lens resting horizontally across a stack of index cards. The empirical imperative was instantaneous: a scholar requires optical enhancement! However, gripping a heavy brass frame with two-dimensional paper appendages presents an acute biomechanical dilemma. Rather than reckless lifting, I wedged the handle under an upright paperclip stand and used my flat foot to pivot the convex glass into a forty-five-degree incline. Peering through the apex, an ordinary speck of eraser debris suddenly expanded into a mountainous geologic formation! Tremendous! The refractive index of curved silica yields boundless pedagogical value right here on the desk.
