Acoustic Survey

I throttled the speeder out into the clear corridor past the cabinet. A loose brass washer lay flat across the timber grain, partially covered by a thin strip of paper tape. Bringing the craft to an orderly stop, I dismounted to inspect the component. I drew my notched cardboard gauge to verify the washer's inner diameter against our front outrigger tip. It slipped over the nose piece with exact tolerance. After checking the secure fit, I carefully pried it off and laid it beside the baseboard as an elevated pivot point for our next turn.
