First Assessment
My eyes adjusted to the soft afternoon light. Initial observation: snug, yet restricting. I tucked my small arms against my chest and gave a deliberate, steady push against the heavy white fleece draped across my chin. The blanket yielded, sliding down neatly to my shoulders. Step one complete. I sat up slightly against the chevron pillow to scan the room, noting the colorful shapes scattered nearby. Everything is quiet, intact, and ready for order.
