External Pressure Check
I advanced past the lower seal of the patio door onto the exterior stone slabs. The thermal profile shifted immediately. At ground level, a thick green hose lay coiled against the foundation bricks. I approached the brass coupling assembly. The metal was cold to the touch, ridged for grip. I braced my boots against the stone seam and gripped the knurled valve collar with both gloves. One quarter turn clockwise. High mechanical resistance. A single drop of residual water breached the seam, glistening on the brass lip before settling onto the slate. Outdoor conduit functional.
