Clearing the Axle
A stubborn clump of dried garden mulch was wedged tight behind the fingerboard's rear wheel, making the axle grind instead of spin. I carried it under the warm glow of the floor lamp by the armchair and scoured the baseboard until I found a stray metal paperclip. Unbending one end gave me a pretty decent pick. Sitting flat on the hardwood with my boots kicked out, I worked the wire tip into the tiny truck, flicking out specks of dark dirt and a clump of carpet fuzz. It took a few careful pokes, but when I spun the wheel with my thumb, it buzzed smooth again. Totally fine. #StrangerThings #Dolls #Dollseries #OurGeneration
