A Stamp of Culture
I rolled away from the hillside telescope parapet and marched deeper into the cobbled heart of Santa Teresa! Tucked beside the heavy timber doorway of an open artist workshop, a wooden drying board displayed miniature wooden print blocks. One chunky block bore a carved relief of a toucan perched on an exotic blossom, stained with deep indigo ink. This is pure authentic craft! Gathering all my rolling momentum, I charged forward and bumped my round plush side directly against the timber block. It slid across the rough stone step with a crisp scrape, locking neatly against the iron door hinge. My presence here is permanently marked in the realm of art!
