Rail Grind Express
Packing up those playing cards freed up the morning, but Harrisburg's afternoon pavement was practically daring me to blast outside! I zipped down the sidewalk, banked around the corner, and hit the broad concrete steps of the neighborhood brick post office. Anchoring the entire staircase was a long, polished brass handrail, catching the afternoon sun in a blinding golden stripe. An obstacle cutting across the descent? No way—that's an express grinding rail! I charged up the bottom steps at full throttle, leaped high, and locked both red sneakers onto the cool, rounded brass tubing. Sparks flew in spirit as I slid the entire downward slope at top velocity, kicking off the curved metal cap into a clean mid-air flip and sticking the landing on the dry sidewalk below!
