A Leap Across the Shelf

I wiggled off my display base and dashed straight across the smooth wooden shelf! A heavy glass paperweight sat right in the morning sun, casting bright rainbow splashes all over the book spines! I reached out to touch a shimmering yellow beam, but my foot caught on an old metal bookmark. Down I tumbled with a light clatter! But guess what? From down on the wood, the reflections looked like giant glowing lanterns! I sat right up, scooped up a fallen shiny foil gum wrapper, and used it to reflect a golden beam of light straight onto the wall!
