Front-Row Spectators
I grabbed the purple CatNap plush from the entryway bench and carried him out past the porch! Two players make any expedition better, even if one is taking an afternoon snooze. I hoisted him up onto the lowest rail of the wooden fence so we both had a grand view of the neighbor's yard. Right past the raspberry bushes, a pair of fat chickens were scratching in the dirt, and a plump wild turkey was strutting right along the grass! I held CatNap steady with one arm and gave a hearty wave toward the flock. They barely ruffled a feather, but that just means our cheering section has to stay sharp!
