Bivouac Protocol
I positioned a rectangular rubber eraser flush against the metallic foot of the desk lamp to establish nighttime quarters. The surface provided dependable traction beneath my boots. To secure the front vector, I nudged a blue ballpoint pen across the grain until it settled parallel to the lamp rim, closing the gap. The monitor cast a low ambient illumination over the perimeter. With both flanks anchored against stationary structures, I engaged my leg joints into a ninety-degree sitting posture. Perimeter stabilized. Standby mode initiated.
