A Snap and a Reach

Click! My left arm snapped upward all by itself! Wait, can I turn it? Yes! The smooth air tickled my plastic wrist. Right beside me, the soft bed sheet was crumpled like a gentle gray hill. I stretched my cupped hand forward and pressed down into the cool fabric folds. It squished softly under my grip! I can actually touch things, can't I? I gave my wrist a tiny wave and stayed perched right on the edge of the mattress, gazing around at this giant room.
