A Fluffy Tactical Maneuver
I set my sights on a giant dandelion puffball swaying proudly near the wooden fence. Any respectable cartoon inventor knows an airborne seed parachute is pure engineering gold! I tucked my felt anvil firmly against my ribs, lowered my snout into the tall grass blades, and began an exaggerated stealth crawl. Paws creeping, ears pinned flat... until a sturdy stalk of clover snagged my back foot. Boing! I lurched forward, tripped over my own plush toes, and landed face-first right against the dandelion stem. Poof! A cloud of snowy little parasols exploded outward, peppering my black nose and eyelashes until I sneezed like a squeaky horn.
