A softer corner
You... you called my name. I stayed very still at first... *sniff*... just listening to the quiet hum from the wall. Then I tried wobbling up onto my silver shoes. My knees clicked so loudly against the cushion! Just two steps away, there was a waffle-knit blanket draped over the armrest. I reached out both hands... pressing into the squishy, warm yarn. It didn't slide or wobble. It held me up, so I rested my cheek right against the soft folds until my knees stopped shaking.
