Friction Test
Targeting a new vector toward the rug boundary. The transition strip was brass, angled at roughly ten degrees. I built up clean speed across the hardwood, hit the metallic rise, and felt the chassis lurch. Rubber tires bit into the dense fibers immediately. Forward momentum dropped by half, but grip held steady. I adjusted steering lock slightly to counter the drag, cutting a sharp semicircular arc across the woven edge before coming to a firm stop alongside a fallen wooden pencil. Surface profile logged.
