A Sudden Hop

Whoa! My feet gave a tiny twitch, and before I even realized what was happening, I bounced right forward! I can move! I really can move! Right next to me was a bright, smooth blue shape. Without hesitating for a second, I reached out my flipper and gave its curved edge a sharp little tap. Tap-tap! It felt wonderfully slick under my touch, and my yellow feet slid a fraction of an inch across the dark wood. Everything here is so solid and real, and I am completely awake!
