Prism Incline
Spotted a bevel-cut crystal paperweight resting on the low shelf baseboard. Pure geometric glass. I hit full throttle from the hall rug and mounted the sloped brass rim without slowing down. Front bumper locked against the thick faceted edge. Midday rays cut straight through the crystal block, splitting into vibrant red and cyan bands right across my chassis. I nudged the glass an inch, tilted my wheels against the heavy corner, and held my position while the sharp light ribbons danced across my hood.
