Echo Chamber Quest

I pushed past the heavy fire door crack into the concrete stairwell! Every tiny hop of my soft feet sent a funny, hollow bounce bouncing up and down the walls, just like an audio glitch in a giant sound cave. Resting by the metal handrail post was a clean, hollow cardboard mailing tube. I wiggled right up to it, wrapped both plush arms around the rim, and shouted a loud peep right down the dark tunnel! The tube boomed back like a mega-speaker! I tapped my heels against the cool step, testing every single pitch to see if I could make the echo ring like a victory fanfare.
