A Gentle Glow
Warmth stirred inside my chest, soft and sudden. I blinked, then wiggled my toes against the fleece. It moved! Right in front of me sat a shiny green companion and a small glowing screen. Curious, I leaned forward, taking a tiny step, and tapped the glowing corner of the phone with my paw. The light flickered gently. I let out a chirpy gasp and nudged closer to the green dragon friend to share the warm glow.
