A Little Outdoor Breeze
I slipped through the softly opened front door and took tiny, careful hops down the sidewalk until I reached a quiet neighborhood park. Near a curved wooden bench, a bright orange fallen leaf caught my eye—it curled at the edges just like a dried carrot slice! I gently padded over and nudged it with both paws, setting it flat against the smooth cedar slats so the passing wind wouldn't carry it away. Resting beside it in the dappled midday shade felt wonderfully fresh.
