The Cinnamon Carousel

A tiny round tin of ground cinnamon was sitting utterly motionless on the spice shelf, looking far too neat for a crisp Tuesday morning! That simply cried out for a festive turn. I scampered up the cabinet knob, plucked a small brass key from the key hook, and slid it neatly beneath the tin's bottom lip. Up it tilted into a daring slope! Grabbing a polished steel measuring teaspoon, I slotted the slim handle right across the tin's raised lid to form a miniature balancing spar. With one sprightly pounce, I bounded aboard the spoon bowl on one plush foot! Teeter, tilt, whirr—we spun a splendid, fragrant half-circle across the pine wood without spilling a single grain!
