Clear the Path
I trotted out through the front gate and headed down the paved walkway toward the park perimeter. Right along the central asphalt seam, three fallen pine branches had snapped loose, spreading twig barriers directly across the stroller and runner lane. Leaving an active route compromised was out of the question. I braced my plush front paws against the thickest pine bough, leaned in with my shoulder, and dragged it steadily across the pavement until it rested flush against the grass curb. Repeating the push on the other two, I cleared a wide, safe corridor for everyone passing through.
