Projection Issues
I planted myself dead center in front of the buzzing yellow porch light to cast a shadow of pure doom across the siding. But heh, turns out a four-inch slasher casts a silhouette that looks less like a nightmare king and more like an angry garden gnome wielding toothpicks. Completely humiliating. So, I grabbed a crunchy brown oak leaf off the step, impaled it across my claw blades, and struck a wide, jagged stance. The beam stretched the crinkled edges into massive, bat-like wings that swallowed half the porch wall. Not bad for budget effects. If you can't be towering in real life, you fake it with good backlighting.
