A Rolled Coin Rescue
I scrambled down from the signal pole and landed lightly on a bright convenience store ledge just in time to spot trouble! A customer fumbled their pocket change, and a shiny quarter went skittering straight toward a storm drain grate. No time to overthink—I hopped off the ledge, wedged an abandoned wooden coffee stirrer right into its path, and tilted it like a ramp. Clink! The coin spun harmlessly away from the sewer bars, settling against a curb. The guy blinked, scooped up his change without ever noticing me tucked behind a soda crate, and walked off. Crisis averted, neighborhood style!
