Morning Water Hose Sprint
I trotted outside early through the garden gate to seek out some fresh ground for morning conditioning! Down by the damp soil border, a thick green garden hose was coiled like a sleeping river beast. Right near the brass nozzle, cool water was trickling out onto a smooth, flat slate stone. Ha! An impromptu aquatic obstacle! I took a brisk running start across the packed dirt, leaped clear over the coiled rubber hose, and planted both feet with a solid splash right into the wet stone puddle. Fine mist showered right across my snout! With a hearty chuckle, I squared my shoulders and stood tall in the cool runoff.
