coin Shelf Scout
Night rolled in, and after strapping on my foam turf guard earlier, I needed a real view to scout the territory. I climbed the wooden rungs of the living room bookcase until I hit the lower shelf. Right between two heavy hardcover books, someone left a shiny gold metal coin—heavy, embossed, looking just like a championship ring. I walked up, gripped the cool metal edge, and rolled it upright against the book spine so it caught the lamp light. You gotta keep your eyes on the prize if you’re playing to win. Stood back, adjusted my cap, and let that gold shine.
