Trajectory Test
A silver teaspoon. Balanced neatly over a round wooden pencil. An improvised catapult. A field test is required. I retrieve a red plastic bread clip from under the shelf. Drop it into the spoon bowl. Aim set. Two brisk steps back. Then a firm hop. Clack! Both heels strike the metal handle together. The spoon flips down. The red clip launches straight up in a soaring arc. Plink. Right into the center of an empty ceramic mug. Direct hit. Range calibrated.
