A Sudden Spark

A sudden pulse rushed straight down into my boots! I felt real weight in my limbs for the first time. Right beside me, another figure was poised mid-air, a green ranger locked tight in a heroic stance. I gave my right fist a quick flex, testing the grip, then lightly bumped my elbow against his armored shoulder to check his balance. Solid! We're up, we're ready, and there is ground to cover right beneath us.
