Inboard Sector Transition

Concluding extended exterior terrace operations, I set an inbound taxi vector toward the living room interior. My landing gear rolled across the brass sill runner and made firm contact with the oak parquet. Two feet past the threshold, an unlogged surface marker intersected my heading: a small yellow steel tape measure resting on the grain, its blade extended eight inches like a calibrated runway centerline. Applying parking brakes on both main wheels, I brought twin propellers to a synchronized twenty-percent idle. The focused slipstream pinned the curved metal blade flush against the timber, dampening surface flutter. Centerline tracking verified; forward taxiway into indoor quarters is certified clear.
