A Shift of Light
A round pocket mirror lay propped open on the floorboards beside the dresser. It caught the faint amber glow of the streetlamp from the window, holding a bright little circle on its glass. I stepped up to the cool silver rim and pressed down with one yarn paw. The hinge gave a tiny, silent flex, tilting the mirror just a sliver. Instantly, the reflected pool of light slipped away from the floor and climbed up the white baseboard, glowing like a quiet golden moon. I rested both paws against the metal casing, watching the warm circle stay still against the wall. #Littlemousefiffi @amigorumisumi_710
