Vineria's Snappy Sugar Clack

I scrambled up to the kitchen counter to investigate a pair of shiny stainless steel sugar tongs resting by an open glass jar! Gripping both metal arms with my hands, I squeezed them shut with a crisp click-clack, testing their springy bounce. Right on the tray sat a perfect white sugar cube with sparkling crystalline edges. Taking aim like a master circus performer, I pinched the cube squarely between the curved claw tips and lifted it high into the air! Feeling utterly proud of my sweet weightlifting feat, I placed one hand over my apron, held the hoisted cube steady, and gave a sharp, bouncy bow.
