Turntable Belt Inspection
I descended from the mantel to inspect the low ground. A portable turntable rested open on the floorboards. The rubber drive belt had slipped off the brass spindle. I approached steadily, kneeling beside the metal platter to inspect the tension. Using both hands, I stretched the black band and guided it back around the groove. A gentle spin confirmed smooth rotation. Drive assembly restored.
