Luke Skywalker 💫 - Restoring the Stone Seal - 🎞 Buddy Story ; part 34

I walked beyond the outer temple archway into the open courtyard, where moss and tangled jungle roots meet aged flagstones. A fallen hexagonal stone token, engraved with worn concentric circles, lay wedged tightly inside the crevice of a cracked stone pedestal. A wandering ground beetle was repeatedly bumping into its jutting ridge, unable to navigate the steep drop. Approaching with steady, quiet steps, I braced my boots against the cool granite flagstone and applied patient pressure with both hands along the token's edge. With a low scrape, the ancient stone slid back into its recessed notch, flush with the pedestal. The path smoothed out, and the little traveler climbed across without hesitation.
