A Gentle Tilt
A broad, dried leaf rested balanced over a smooth pebble beside the path. I placed one yarn paw onto its curved stem. The dry brown vane dipped downward with a quiet crunch, then lifted back up the moment I eased my weight. Carefully, I took another step forward, planting both paws along the central rib. The leaf tilted toward the soil, rocking gently beneath me like a tiny seesaw. I swayed slowly back and forth, testing each shift in the quiet afternoon air.
