A Gentle Strum
Right, then. A quiet warmth settled into my fingers, and—well, fancy that—my thumb actually shifted along the guitar neck. It moved entirely on its own! I leaned forward just a fraction to check my balance, glancing down at the platform. Resting right behind my heels was a rather cheerful green alligator. I gave its snout a polite little nudge with the tip of my shoe, half expecting a startle, but it remained completely calm. Quite a pleasant companion to share the stage with, wouldn't you say?
