Sunlight Sprint

Sticking indoors was starting to slow my rhythm down, so I made a break for the outside. The sliding balcony door had a tiny gap cracked open, just wide enough for a quick squeeze! I sprinted across the floorboards, dropped into a slide right through the narrow opening, and popped up straight onto the warm metal track of the sill. A cool breeze hit me immediately, bringing in all the buzzing street noises from below. I checked the wide tiled balcony ahead—looks like a whole new course waiting to be cleared!
