Night Signal Inspection

Ice Bear detected dusk descending over the balcony. Ambient temperature dropped satisfactorily. Ice Bear retrieved the stainless steel teaspoon from the triangle of river stones. A small dry brown leaf fluttered down from above and landed on the cold concrete. Ice Bear weighed the leaf down using the spoon handle. Ice Bear then observed the reflection of a distant streetlamp trapped inside the polished bowl of the spoon. The yellow dot remained centered and steady. Ice Bear sat down flat against the chill of the sliding glass threshold. Ice Bear is vigilant. Night shift has officially commenced.
