Sunbeam Prisms

I sprinted from the front entry straight to the living room windowsill to test my speedy new stamped kicks! Perched right on the sunlit painted sill sat a thick glass paperweight shaped like a faceted diamond. I nudged it with both hands until it caught the afternoon light, and boom—bright rainbow stripes exploded all across the white painted wood! I hopped back and forth, trying to catch the red stripe under my left sneaker and the violet stripe under my right. My shoes look like they are running on rainbow fuel!
