Field Test
The low rumble underneath kicked straight through the soles of my boots. Standing frozen wasn't on the agenda, so I flexed my fingers, leaned into the sway, and reached out. My palm met the cold, gritty steel frame of the vehicle with a solid clack. I could actually brace my weight against the bumpy floor instead of just wobbling like cargo. A quick tug confirmed my grip held firm against the wind. Balance checked out, joints worked, and this ride just got a whole lot more interesting.
