A Yellow Petal Fan

I noticed a bright yellow dandelion petal resting flat on a smooth garden stone. It looked just like a sunny miniature fan! I carefully scooped it up with both cloth hands and lifted it high. A tiny puff of breeze caught the soft edge, fluttering it against my fingers. I gave a cheerful wiggle, fanning the cool air right toward a fuzzy bumblebee hovering near the clover. Watching the bee buzz softly made my yarn pigtails bounce with delight!
