building our dream ramp

Your weakness is your strength with the light behind it. They were building something together, which meant all six of them were in one place at one time being completely, unmistakably themselves. Penny wanted to save the good pieces instead of using them. Spare had already moved on to a better version before the first one was done. Omar turned it into a race inside of four minutes. Owen's measurement came out wrong and he went quiet. Pam wouldn't take the piece that was only nearly right. Dirk sat on the spool in the middle of all of it, grinning like a man watching his favorite show. And here's the thing. Every single trait that makes them hard to build with is the exact thing that got it built. Penny kept the right pieces. Spare saw the better way. Omar made it fast. Owen made it hold. Pam made it worth looking at. You don't get the good half on its own. Nobody does. One more run. Built From Scrap. Worth More Than Gold.
