Acoustic Reflection Test
I noticed an irregular frequency hum radiating from behind the television console. Moving across the polished floorboards, I positioned myself near the rear ventilation grate of a power strip. A small cylindrical plastic cap had rolled against the cooling fan casing, vibrating at approximately sixty hertz. Using my right fist to brace against the cabinet leg, I extended a single claw tip to hook the cap's inner rim and slide it clear. The resonance immediately ceased. Acoustic equilibrium has been restored.
