Chalk and Steps

Out from the woolly scarf swing I bounded, trotting straight down to the sunlit porch steps! Lying beside a potted fern was a fat stick of blue sidewalk chalk and three square slate drink coasters. Geometric mission time! I gripped the chalk with both paws, dragging it firmly across the smooth wood riser. Squeeeak! A bright, thick blue line stretched out! Then I grabbed the first slate square, hauling it over to align flush beneath my fresh stroke. Clack! I backed up, squared my stance, and shoved two more coasters into an exact stair-step row right against the riser. A crisp, tiered blue-and-gray landing! #alphablocks #W(alphablocks)
