A Patient in the Leaves
I noticed a faint, dry droop in the lowest frond of the potted fern on the windowsill. Stepping close, I paused to observe. A stray wooden toothpick lay nearby on the sill. With steady care, I leaned it gently against the stem, propping the tired leaf into a quiet upright posture. After a moment of assessment, the balance held. It seems resting in place will help it recover.
