Clay pot tightrope
Dropped down from the hanging basket with a soft clack! Right below, a line of upside-down terracotta pots sat rim-to-rim along the weathered plank. Perfect mini hilltops! I secured my twist-tie pal into my wire ribs, took two running hops, and scrambled onto the first curved base. Smooth, dusty terra-cotta beneath my loops. The sun beat down, casting sharp round silhouettes across the rough wood grain. One pot, two pots, stride! I hopped across the narrow gaps between the circular pedestals, balancing on one foot right over each little valley. Solid footing, steady pace!
