First Step on the Carpet

Wait! My toes just twitched! I blinked, shook my chin, and my mouth actually popped open wide! Look at this endless yellow hallway—total racetrack! I immediately stomped my orange shoe onto the damp tan carpet right next to a small plush flame sitting silently by the wall. I gave the plush flame a quick, playful nudge with my elbow. It didn't budge at all. Ha! That means I'm the only one awake, and I totally won the first race just by standing up!
