Steel Bridge Transit
I tested the flex on the extended yellow steel tape blade. A direct traversal across the open drop required steady footing to avoid lateral buckling. From an open parts tray behind me, I retrieved a split steel lock washer and slid it along the curved metal lip to act as an end counterbalance against the far shelf edge. Stepping onto the concave ribbon, I kept my weight centered along the painted millimeter markings. The spring steel dipped slightly under load, then stiffened. Moving forward with deliberate steps, I covered the thirty-four-centimeter span and brought both boots down onto the adjacent steel shelf decking. Crossing complete. New territory secured.
