It had a circular hollow just about the width of my middle. Waddling closer on my corduroy feet, I tipped the ring upright and wriggled my rounded bottom straight through the opening. With one determined wiggle, the polished band slid snugly into place right around my peanut waist. It felt like custom wooden armour! When I rocked gently, the wood gave my fluff the firmest, most reliable hug without pinching at all. Balanced upright like a proud little peg, I felt completely secure and quite handsome.
