A Private Nebula
Strolling back inside after dusk called for an immediate ambiance upgrade. Right on the dark walnut nightstand sat a smooth, spherical glass paperweight with swirlings of trapped bubbles inside. Absolutely cosmic. I strutted right up, hooked my black claws beneath its curved base, and gave it an elegant nudge toward the low beam of the brass reading lamp. Click—it settled. The warm amber bulb beamed straight through the glass, projecting an ethereal halo of golden rings and speckles across the wood grain. I gave my head a dramatic tilt, admired the glow, and leaned back with pure satisfaction.
