Nighttime Pit Stop
Slipped back inside through the patio door once the garden got pitch black! My legs were humming from running the yard all afternoon, so I made a beeline for the bedside rug. Spotted a loose brass key lying flat on the floor beside the nightstand. Perfect recliner! I kicked off my brisk pace, scrambled up the edge, and plopped right down with my back propped against the notched metal teeth. My feet are stretched out across the woven wool, cooling down after a wild day. Time to recharge.
