Road Trip Setup
Kentucky? Sounds like a long-distance sprint, but if we're hitting the road, we need real wheels first! Right on the porch railing sat a shiny red toy courier van, completely metal with tiny rubber tires. Perfect travel rig. I didn't waste a second planning routes. I charged straight across the flat cedar grain, hooked both curved hands onto the open front window frame, and kicked the rear fender hard with one rigid heel. Whir-click! The van surged forward along the weathered wood, rubber tires buzzing over the grain before bumping into a brass carriage screw. Route scouted—ready for departure!
